Children’s Ministry: Honoring Volunteers

|

On September 22, 2012, the Children’s Ministry of King Jesus International Ministry held a dinner to honor its volunteers.

The goal of the Children’s Ministry at King Jesus Ministry is to encourage children to serve and renew their communities through the knowledge and application of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We work toward this goal by immersing them in scripture, teaching them how to pray and worship, and facilitating spiritual growth among a new generation.

We will not hide them from their children; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the LORD, his power, and the wonders he has done. -Psalm 78:4

Guests included:

Department Leaders: Pastor Tommy & Prophet Sarahi Acosta
Administrator: Maria Novero
Previous Directors of the Children’s Ministry: Minister Esther Matias
Current Directors of the Children’s Ministry: Joshua & Sandra Garcia
Current and previous volunteers of the ministry

Prophet Sarahi Acosta and Minister Esther Matias received a recognition plaque in honor for their time and sacrifice dedicated to the ministry. Volunteers who have been in the ministry for over 10 years received recognition certificates along with gift cards as rewards of their discipline and dedication.

At this event there was a power point presentation compiled of pictures from when the ministry began and recent pictures. Many consist of different presentations, plays, musicals and other activities performed by the ministry.

We want to encourage parents to bring their children to receive a Supernatural impartation in every service. The Children’s Ministry is for ages 2-12.

Keep his decrees and commands, which I am giving you today, so that it may go well with you and your children after you and that you may live long in the land the LORD your God gives you for all time.   -Deuteronomy 4:40
